Highwire Theatre is now accepting submissions for their 2008 Testing the Line Competition. All entries will be read and reviewed by a panel of NYC theater professionals (playwrights, directors, actors, etc.) Finalists will have a workshop and staged reading with professional actors and directors in Summer 2008. The winner will receive $300 and a fully-mounted production as part of Highwire's season. Entries must be full-length, straight plays. One-Acts, musicals and adaptations will not be accepted. Scripts must be unpublished and original with no production history; workshops and readings are allowed. | Okay, I got to them and their last theme competition has closed, but at least I know where to look for them when the opportunity reopens. Maybe I"ll write to Jessica and find out when that might be.
