Here are a couple of opportunities I picked up Mostly country specific I'm afraid.
The Royal Exchange at Manchester is advertising its annual writing comp winners considered for production and 35,000 pounds in prize money. Open to writers in the UK and Ireland and info at http://www.writeaplay.co.uk
The Rod Hall award is looking for writers between 18 and 30 and is offering five thousand pounds plus a commission plus representation by The Rod Hill Agency. Once again UK citz and the address is The Rod Hall Memorial Award c/o Pains Plought

And the Royal Court is looking for writers under 25 years of age for the young writers festival. 31 May closing any length with the prospect of production. Details at the Royal Court Web site
