Following the enormous success of our Short Play Festival in 2008, KLT is pleased to announce that it is now seeking entries for a one act festival that will be staged at our theatre in April 2011. Please read the following guidelines for entry carefully.
There is no entry fee.
One play per author.
Closing date for entry is 1st December 2010.
Approximate running time should be between 20 and 45 minutes.
Set, costume, technical and property requirements should be minimal.
Winning plays will be performed twice over two weekends. 1St, 2nd, 8th and 9th April 2011.
Our intention is to fully stage all the plays but other commitments mean that some plays may be performed script in hand.
Plays will be chosen by a selection committee. The number of plays chosen will depend on the overall running time but we expect to perform between six and ten
There is no payment but successful authors will receive a DVD of the festival and are entitled to two seats at the performance of their choice.
