Well, I've lurked here for years - but I have finally registered.
I guess I should say something about myself. I'm 47, a playwright (duh) and a performer. I write and perform one-woman children's shows which I use to book myself at libraries, daycares and schools.
I've published 4 scripts with Brooklyn....although as of today, I've heard Brooklyn is now owned by Heuer publishing in Iowa....so, don't know what that means yet.
I'm a member of Scriptwriter's Houston (although I need to get myself to a meeting!).
I also teach theatre at a program in Houston to 1-5 graders in the summer. At the end of summer I write a show for them and they get to perform at Stages. It's my 8th year doing this and I love it.
