THE DECONSTRUCTIVE THEATRE PROJECT
We accept material on a rolling basis and prefer in-development pieces that
coincide with our mission (http://www.deconstructivetheatre.org/mission.html).
Please send a synopsis or development idea and, if applicable, a 10-20 page
dialogue sample. Works of musical theatre should include a recording of 2-3
musical moments, and dance pieces should include an appropriate description of the
proposed work as well as any supporting materials. Please allow up to four
weeks for a response.

Calling for full length play submissions!!!
If you have a great full length play that has yet to be produced, we are looking for you! We are based out of Los Angeles and are interested in allowing a playwright the opportunity to showcase their talent to an audience!
Our preliminary timeline is to open in late September, so we want to begin reading material as soon as possible. If you have something that is important to you, a passion project that just hasn't had a chance to see the light of day, something that will knock the breath right out of the audience's lungs, send it over. We aren't limiting genre at this stage. We are open to everything, as long as it is full length.

Looking for new plays to be performed in Italy
Hello,
My name is Enzo and I'm an Italian actor and director. I am looking for new plays to perform in Italy. At the moment I'm looking for a play with a performing time of 50 to 75 minutes, two characters (one male and one female), any type (drama, comedy...), never been represented in Italy. If you are interested in submitting a play you can email it at stageplaysubmission@gmail.com (sorry for using a gmail address, it's to preserve our theater's server from spamming and flooding... you know what can happen to a publicly released email address...)
All the submitted plays will be read and evaluated for production. We will provide for the translation of the selected plays into Italian language.

I am a member from Italy. I have some plays but I guess they are too short. Ever thought of putting together an evening of shorts?
It would be quite new here in Italy.

Hi Olivia,
I write in English so also other readers can understand. Your idea of an evening of shorts is nice, but it's not new. I saw it often here in Rome. Last year we also organized a theatrical jam session ;)

Where Eagles Dare Short Play Lab (New York, NY) – Seeking one-act plays (45-60 minutes) on any subject for production during December 2009 and January 2010. The playwright/producer must produce the play (casting, rehearsing, etc.), including the provision of a board operator. Where Eagles Dare will provide theatre, box office services, and some promotion. WED keeps the door. Each show will receive 3 slots in one week; producers who succeed in this format are often invited back to produce under a door-deal arrangement. Production requirements should be minimal.
