What happens in one minute?  Let's see how many plays from here, we can get there.

Post your piece in Playwrights Gym - Feedback, and let's hone these babies.  When you are writing a one minute play, every single word must forward the plot...and there can be a plot...and/or define something of one of the characters.

Read below for submission details.

The World’s Only Interactive, International Theatre Festival
    
Now in it’s third international year, Screaming Media Productions have once again teamed up with Harrogate Theatre, Leeds Met University and Brooklyn College New York to present ‘GI60’, the world’s only ‘International Interactive Theatre Festival’. In May and June of this year both Harrogate Theatre and Brooklyn College will host an evening of new theatre. Each venue will premiere fifty new plays, each lasting no more than sixty seconds in length. Actors at Brooklyn College and Harrogate Theatre will perform the plays, which will be recorded and then made available for viewing or download via the screaming media website for a period of up to one year.
  
 The Rules 
 
Plays must last no longer than 60 seconds
All work must be totally original and the author’s own work
The cast size may not exceed 12 actors
All submissions must be sent by email in RTF format and must include your name, address and location before the title of your work:

Individuals may submit as many one minute plays as they wish

Entries from schools must include the name of the school and teacher contact details in addition to the author
  
 
  
Terms and conditions
  
Copyright remains with the author
  
Plays will be made available for download for a maximum period of one year after the festival
  
Individual plays will only be performed as part of ‘Gone in 60 secs’
  
Plays lasting longer than 60 seconds will not be considered
  
The organizers reserve the right to choose the venue for performance
  
The organizers may use individual plays to promote the GI60 festival for a period of one year after the festival
  
All successful authors will be contacted prior to the event to confirm their acceptance as participants
  
There is no payment for selected plays
  
The organizers reserve the right to cut plays where necessary

I found the post in Notices, but no deadline.  I found their website and it had all the same information, but no deadline.  Sooooo, I sent them an email and I'll report back when I hear from them.
