Seeking Collaborator for "Precious Bane"
I am a composer/lyricist in the Boston area and am looking for a librettist/lyricist to collaborate on a new musical adaptation of the novel, "Precious Bane" by Mary Webb. Set in Shropshire, England in the 1800's, the story is an intense tapestry of dark and light threads--in which the destinies of two very different protagonists, Prudence Sarn and her brother Gideon, are played out. "Precious Bane" embodies universal themes -- the awakening of the spirit, and the struggles between spiritual and material values, good and evil, love and lust.

Hi. I heard from one person, but she was not a good match. I'm really looking for someone who is an experienced playwright. Preferably someone who has had their play(s) professionally produced.
