I will only say, it is a must see movie. I do not want to give anything away.

It is the story of East Germany Secret Police, the Stasi, before the Berlin Wall was torn down, and its effect on a group of theatre artists and poets, as well as the effect on the Stasi members themselves. Brilliant in every way: script, acting, directing. The actors are beyond superb. Given what is happening under the ubiquitous excuse of "Homeland Security," in the USA, it is a chilling contemporary reminder of how ANY government, since they are all made up of fallible human beings, can/will try to achieve absolute power and destroy individuals without cause or by simple act of whim.

See it on the large screen in a movie theatre if you can.
