When I asked a friend of mine in NYC abut what to recommend for my cousin visiting NYC what would he recommend.
He replied "Without a doubt: 'Frost Nixon'." Stars Frank Langella who won the Tony for his performance.
My cousin loved it. Thought it was brilliantly stage. Been in politics all his life (Republican - not a whacko one) ) and is a very erudite man and loves and is educated in art in every format.
For those anywhere in the NYC area, rush to see it. It closes soon. Langella is a genuine theatre actor. You probably know about the half price TKTS booth in NYC. And you don' have to wait in line too long as there is a seperate line for "Plays" not musicals.
He got a $50 seat in the ninth row.
If you see it let us know.
Anyone see it in London?
best,
