I have only written two plays in my entire life. The first one was
entitled "Two" and was workshopped here. It was accepted by
Asphalt Jungle Shorts and directed by Paddy. The experience
(at least on my end) has been wonderful; I felt from the very
beginning that the play was in good hands, and she did nothing
but prove me correct.
The other play has not been workshopped here because I haven't had
the time to comment (in a respectfully serious way) on anything anyone
else has posted (play-wise), so I didn't think it honorable of me to post
my own and seek commentary when I hadn't offered critique of my own to
anyone else. That said, I went ahead and submitted the play to a contest
(not really sure that it has much of a chance to win) that I found out about
because of this website. If it wins (HA!); this place deserves credit.
