Congratulations to Edd and Paddy, whose monologues will soon be published. I can't wait to receive my free copy.

Thanks, Paddy and Edd.

This is my first experience with the editor, Gerald Lee Ratliff, who seems like a really good guy.

I bombarded him with monologues and he said he liked my enthusiasm and actually selected one.

Happy Holidays to all!

Shirley: To whom and where did you send your monologues?

Dear M: this all happened some time ago and the anthology wasn't published until this month but as I recall, the editor, Gerald Lee Ratliff, posted a call for monologues and duologues on various sites. He hasn't posted another since then and recently told me it would be a few years, he thought, before he would edit another collection.

He did a beautiful job of editing and writing introductions as well as providing information for students using the material for audtions.

Edd, I really enjoyed yours and also Paddy's work in the anthology. Gerald very kindly sent me an extra copy for the drama teacher of our local high school.

Thanks for providing more specific information about the collection.

And I can't say enough good things about the exercises you and Paddy asked us to do. Because you did I was able to send six one minute plays to Gone In Sixty Seconds.

Shirley
