...and to Paul and medea res for missing yesterday's greenroom. It was a beautiful spring day here, finally, and I'd almost love to say I was dancing in the tulips, but I was in a warehouse until 2am. Last time these dates conflicted, I was on the computer at dispatch for the chat. My mind completely blanked on this and I am so sorry.
Everyone should go read the transcripts from yesterday's chat. Very interesting work you are doing, Sirc, and I found out even more things about Paul.
I do have a question from medea res who couldn't make the chat.
For Sirc: Since you has been around in different locales, do you find the shows you choose changes with the different geographical areas? Or do you pretty much find a script that attracts you and do it no matter where?
best,
in media res
Again, my appologies to all.

No worries, Paddy. I think the discussion might have been a bit more beneficial had more than just Thain and myself been there, as I was unsure of what to go over specifically, but I have to assume that the lack of attendance means perhaps the topics were not anything that was considered particularly interesting or potentially helpful.
I hope people glean something useful from the transcripts.
As for medea res's question:
"For Sirc: Since you has been around in different locales, do you find the shows you choose changes with the different geographical areas? Or do you pretty much find a script that attracts you and do it no matter where?"
This is interesting. I have to admit that I ignore most ideas about geography's influence. I suppose that is true for some artists, but for myself I feel that since my audience is of a particular mindset, I can tap into them wherever I produce. To be honest, there are some shows that I love to stage and therefore have done them more than once in various places.
That is one of the perks of independent production. You can set up shop wherever you like, and can move on just as easily when the villagers come bearing torches and pitchforks.
Thanks for the question and I hope you find the answer to be thorough. If not, feel free to let me know and I will be as specific as your questions.

Sorry I missed it -- but it's that time of the semester...

Sirc,
Would have loved to have been there and attend as may as I can. When I can't I always e-mail a question to the moderator for the guest. You answered my question quite succinctly and sufficiently.
Sounds like you are having fun.
