At the start I had very bad morning sickness and I was numb at the shock of it all.  Then Paddy and My Master tried to get me through the initial stages.  I was really really sick.

They told me I would get through it.  I didn't believe it at first, but I took their advise
Then everything settled and I was feeling fine

I'm near to delivery and it's killing me
These last few weeks/months are the hardest and I'm really feeling it

I know Paddy & My Master will say to me "PUSH" Potabasil, but I'm exhausted
I don't know if I can deliver a healthy baby

Help Paddy- Help Master

When you most worry...thinking it's too much...something that large fitting through a small place...impossible.

I thought about a snake, and how it's jaw dis-engages to sup on the bunny.

At the end of it all...no bunny, a fat snake and a jaw that looks normal again.

And if you must wait that long....write it out of your ass.

Whatever it takes!

Potabasil,

I'm . . . I'm  speechless.  I'll be back later.  In the meantime, boil some water.  I'm still in shock from what Paddy said!

For those of you who do not know.  Today is the anniversary of Handel's Messiah, first played in Dublin, Ireland on the 13 th April, 1742 in Fishamble Street.

When I was home (Dublin) I was able some years to go down to Fishamble Street and listen to it played on the side of the street
Now with the Celtic Tiger and all that, it's gone from a 100 or so people to tens of thousands.,  This year they have a whole week of festival's in honour of Handel
Anyway's it's inspiring me today
Enjoy

gosh potabasil, i thought this was a metaphor.  your play is close to completion, and it's killing you.   you gotta push, push to get it out...

try the shower.  worked for my gal.   she went to 9 cm in one hour... and i'm off the metaphor in case you're confused.

I really thought delivery was imminent, but then I got the flu and I was dying all week.  Am in the dressing gown as I write, just out of my sick bed.
Poor kids asked me tonight was I dying, Maeve said Mama being asleep all day.
I've written 67 pages does any know how many more I need for a full lenght?.  Also I though maybe I would join the DGA well seeing as I've written 67 pages and all that, then I spoke to them and they said I could send 40-50 pages and be able to be associate member.  IS this true? Or was he coddin me.  I am sick surely, when I'm getting ideas above  my station in life

The dramatist Guild of America.Would you go on out of that, and who do you think  you are? they would say

Then a very odd thing happened this afternoon when I was asleep.  I dreamt of Stageplays and I was there right on stageplays and someone was telling me off as I kept sweeping this stuff off the floor and she was telling me to leave it and I couldn't understand because stageplays was only the computer but this was a stage the real Stageplays and everyone was there in real life, Edd, Paddy, Inmediares,Ian fraser, Deidre, Timmy the poet.  All there on stage doing their own thing.  Edd was holding court, crowd around him all drinking and smoking cigars and talking about his plays. Paddy was giving lessens to the rest.  Timmy was over at a window writing a poem and I was sweeping the floor.  I couldn't understnad and thought maybe I'm going off the rocker, but then after a while I realised before I went asleep I was reading The Charwoman's Daughter and maybe that was what brought that dream on.  Anywell I'm not well so that's my excuse tonight
