FAN FRAKIN' TASTIC!  I loved everything about this little film.  Truly.  I am rarely this enthusiastic about these kind of shorts, and I've seen many of them, but this little gem caught, engaged and delighted me right from the title to the last frame.  I am so impressed, that I can honestly tell you that I would have been honored and proud to have my name attached to it and that, as self-focused as I am, is high praise indeed.

Imelda, you get my full name on this,

Thanks so much Edd for them their words (northern Ireland accent) Movie was screened last night here in new Hampshire.  Cinema sold out.  So after on the spur of the moment everyone came back here and we ate and drank more wine and G&T's and everyone seemed delighted and excited with themselves.

So because of that 48hour weekend I've loads of new friends. Just love new friends

Oh god, I just remembered I had to stand in front of the whole Audience in the cinema and speak and nobody said that I would have to do that, The Irish, we are never caught on the hop regarding speaking.so I spoke and told the the story of how I managed the 48 hour w/e and that on the Thursday I still did not have anyone on my team never mind a camera, a director, an editor, one actor...and I ended up with more cast and crew than any other Team (or so I heard through the grapevine) they seemed to like that story

Thanks again Edd

Imelda

And I want to go back to the sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll and the mayhem of 1960s NYC!  But it ain't gonna happen.

Terrific work, Potabasil! This little gem is completely charming and wonderful. I have no idea how you all pulled off something so well made in every respect in such a short time. You should all feel justly proud! And all those new friends to boot!

Way to go!

H.

Thank you rabbit rabbit

One of my babies...The rabbit. Legged it over the weekend of the 48 hours.  She has not come back, but we are looking.  The other is in the cage now, before the 48 hour she was as free as a bird.

At one time, I did have an idea to have all the Playwrights on line here. The regulars be on standby for a Storyline on the Friday night. But it did not materialize.

IMS wrote that night that you were all praying for me.

I decided to do it this way instead

Have the cast and crew over the Friday night after 7p.m. when we got the genre . A few drinks and dinner around the table and all heads to the task ahead.

So we went with my first thought, and that was New Hampshire the week before the 48hour film . Declared that "Gay marriage" was law

So I wanted to put something in about the gay population

We stormed three story lines and ended up with what you saw.  I gave the writing to my step son to write, we all wrote it around the table and I gave everyone a "Credit" for it, plus the step son a special Credit for Screenplay.

I was the producer and I had so many things to do in the 48 hour period and had no room for ....................

Obviously it was changed around during Saturday.  We lost footage of two great Speed dates. They were brilliant, but someone re-wound the camera to have a look back, and then forgot to rewind. So they were lost and had gone home.

Plus the rules said  7 mins and one minute for credits.

But we had a blast

We were the only team who did a Gay theme.

The results are not in yet.

It had me all the way. I especially liked the triangulation at the end with the guy she was talking to and the two other guys. Nice bit of camera work and on the edit. All these faces...suspense...then ending on the handshake/handclasp. BOOM! And BLACKOUT. Neat package.

On to the next one, I hope.

Best,
