Cast of Characters:
TREE: a child about ten years old.
SKY: a child about 6 years old
LAMB: a child who tends a lamb. LAMB moves and sounds like a lamb.
SHOAT: a child who tends a shoat. SHOAT moves and sounds like a shoat.
CHICK: a child who tends chickens. CHICK moves and sounds like a chick.
SETTING: The stage is bare.
AT RISE: LIGHTS are fading as TREE and SKY are comforting each other.
SKY: Why did we move?
TREE: For daddy’s job, Sky, this is better.
SKY: We’ll miss our friends.
TREE: We’ll make more friends.
SKY: Are you sure.
TREE: Yeah.
SKY: Well, maybe. See you in the morning.
(LIGHTS slowly up. We hear each character before we see
them, their voices overlap. TREE watches.)
LAMB: Baa-aaah. Baa-aah.
SHOAT: Snort snort oink!
CHICK: Err err. Err err ooooooo! Chick chick chick.
(The sounds repeat as TREE goes towards them. When the.
Other actors see TREE, they’re sounds and motions change.)
LAMB: Baa-aaah. Good morning. Baa-aah.
SHOAT: Snort snort oink! Good to see you!
CHICK: Err err. Err err ooooooo! Want to play? Chick chick chick.
(The sounds and motions repeat until TREE joins the motion.)
TREE: Let’s invite Sky. (Gestures to SKY.) This is fun.
LAMB: Baa-aaah. Good morning. Baa-aah.
SHOAT: Snort snort oink! Good to see you!
CHICK: Err err. Err err ooooooo! Want to play? Chick chick chick
TREE: This is fun.
(The sounds and motion repeat until SKY joins what is now almost a dance.)
SKY: Yeah, it is!
TREE: This is fun.
LAMB: Baa-aaah. Good morning. Baa-aah.
SHOAT: Snort snort oink! Good to see you!
CHICK: Err err. Err err ooooooo! Want to play? Chick chick chick
TREE: This is fun.
SKY: Yeah, it is!
(Sound and motion repeat to-.)

Mary, you are the Goddess of ambiguity! I never know where you are going, and I find my self looking forward to that. There is a kind of weird sweet logic to what seems very cool nonsense. This would be visually really fun.
Is there more to come?
