Hey - it's been a while since I've posted on here.  Writing, other work and (especially) fatherdom tend to keep me away although I do look from time to time even if I don't post.  Anyway, have a few things coming up starting with A Little Soul, a very short play of mine (that I posted on this forum around 12 months back) in a death-match (or something) with fifteen other plays.  Further details below:

Zeitgeist Theatre Company

Presents

    Theatre Grand-Slam

       Sunday 28th October @ 8pm

A unique event that's the theatrical version of 'battle of the bands'. Sixteen VERY short plays compete for the title 'best new play'. From Enid Blyton's hissy fit on Golliwog for quitting toyland for marmalade jar gigs, to soldiers lost on some frontline, fighting some war in a solar-powered tank. Expect variety, bizarre stories and a lot of fun.

VENUE:               The Bedford, 77 Bedford hill, SW12 9HD

TUBE:                 Balham

DURATION:        1 hr 30 (+20min interval)

TICKETS:           £5

Bookings:         info@zeitgeisttheatre.com (recommended)

If "A Little Soul" does not win, truly we must question the origins of the universe, our essential reasons for being, and why we even bother to wake up in the morning. It is that brilliant.

For those who have not read it, look it up under previous posts. It met with a resounding reception.

Let us know how it goes, please.

Glad to see you back around here!

best,

Break a leg, M3!  And stop being such a stranger.  How about a little something for our monthly mini-play contest?
