My full lenght play Thoroughly Stupid Things will have a two week run @ Manhattan Theatre Source in NYC. Manhattan Theatre Source was recently named one of the top five off-broadway companies in NYC by the New Yorker, the issue has not even been released yet.

Anyway it's one of my favorite plays, it was accepted in the 2007 NYC Fringe, but I was unable to do it cause i didn't have the cash to self produce, it's nice that they have shown faith in it.

For more information go to Theatresource.org, and look up in their Calendar.

Mozz,

So, do Jack and Algernon ever come out?

Congratulations!  Looking forward to December 2.

BTW, if you ever want to read a play about Gertrude Stein, Alice B. Toklas, Marcel Proust and Oscar Wilde performing an inorcism (putting a spirit back in) read In the Venus Arms on my website.  I think it might tickle you.

Congratulations again and see you on the 2nd.

Laughter, bravos and fabulous lighting,
~Edd

OH MY GOD EDD!!!

Algernon totally comes out at the very end of the play.

I am looking forward to December 2nd, because we just had our first EstroGENIUS Meeting and I told the producers I was doing this, and they were excited at the prospect of reaching so many, possibly new playwrights.

The fact is, that we're expanding next season by a WEEK!!! because the work was so good, and so many good plays were not picked due to time, we thought, well, let's see if we can make it grow...

Also, the producers and I got into a heated conversation about what makes a great play, and so I got a lot of great p.ov.s to share.

Congratulations, Mozz! I would love to be there to see your play. And that's great news about Estrogenius adding a week. Such a first-rate festival should expand. Of course, it means you'll be wearing that many more hats...

All the best,

Kris (of "Shoe")

Hi Kris!

I mentioned meeting you when i was having dinner with the executive producer of the festival on Monday Night.

It was all Good!  and I told her how pleased you were with the production.

I can't wait to see what you send in this year, as I hope you are submitting again.
