This 12 page play I posted about 4 years ago is being produced as a winner of a world wide play festival.
Finally got around to submitting it this year as I had thought, "Who the eff wants to produce a play that is charming, posiitve and hopeful?" It is even an aberration for me to write it! It is all the things that most theatres hate.
So, I am thrilled.
Thanks to all the people who had such wonderful comments and support.
It actually started out as a play I wrote for a Unitarian Church Service. Every age group loved it at the reading by professional actors at the Church. Children through elderly. Ah, thank god/goddess/no god for the Unitarians!
Here was the original posting:

This is the fourth festival I am having a play produced in this year. And I am to get a reading at an A-Line theatre out East of a full-length play this summer. An outright, unabashed romance.
Again, thanks to all.
best,
