 MOONLIT GARDEN
 

Moonlit garden, soft and silver,
Basking in the heavenglow,
Watch my darling and I wander,
Wonder at the spectral show.

Rosebud beauty, daisy pleasure,
Starshine blanket much like dew
Cover all the world securely
Stir the love within we two.

Shadowfall obscure the harshness
Present in the light of day
With nocturnal grace and splendor;
Love should ever be this way.
