There are two types of folk
Out here in the world

And thus we must admit

That while half sit and write this crap
the others sit and read it

lostsocks,

Best poem I have read in years!

Kind of sums it all up.

I will quote you many times with attribution.

lostsocks,

Everyone I have recited this to - I have it committed to memory - has had an absolute joy at hearing it! And the more experienced the writer/performer/designer/agent/producer/etc, it exponentially elicits a shocked/comic/horrified self- recognition. It is a delight! Thought you should know. I have attributed it to you each time with your real name and as a "British playwright." Thanks again!

It is so great to see and hear people laughing at themselves rather than at others, which your little poem succeeds at doing. So, I am spreading the smiles.

best,
