Apologies for being quiet for these last few weeks. I've been busy with my group's production and now my computer's broke! Anyway, good news is that New Theatre Publications have published my first full length play. This is the blurb Set on the platform of a rural railway station waiting for a train that never comes, this is a play about life, love and hope. The stark reality of living with schizophrenia is contrasted by the warmth and playfulness that exists between the main characters. With a degree of flexibility in casting and a set that would work better if it is suggested rather than detailed, this is play should be relatively simple to stage yet at the same time giving the actors the opportunity to immerse themselves into characters that have great complexity and depth. I first published an excerpt on this forum then Luana kindly agreed to read the whole thing and encouraged me to take it froward so thanks to all especially Luana. David
