Maybe they are washing dishes, maybe reading the paper, talking about the weather...but, they want something, desire something, are afraid of something....so it's all in the subtext, and peaches for the actors.
Maybe the weather, is really about sex, or the dishes is all about dying. Use your imagination.
Paddy, this came at exactly the right place for me. Subtext is something I am struggling with. I'm very much a heart on the sleeve kind of girl and having all the characters being like that is difficult to maintain. You know?
