This Marketing Forum permits the listing of production & publishing opportunities which for one reason or another may not satisfy the conditions of The Playwrights' Noticeboard

And although this means you can list Contests that charge Reading Fees, be aware most of our members will vociferously challenge your policy

You're also welcome to list details and URLs of other websites that you think will be of interest to playwrights

since I'm the Director of the Auroville Thetre Group,I thought I would extend an invitation to all playwrights to send us a script.

The Auroville Theatre Group has existed for 10 years. We are a multi-lingual, multi-cultural group. The plays we like best have a fineness of expression and deal with themes which showcase the individual journey, the struggle, aspiration, hope. Comedies are always welcome - but themes should be international (not too narrowly fixed in local language or concern). Love stories are great.

We welcome plays whch include music and dance.

Please send your script to: Jill Navarre, Prarthana, Auroville 605101,Tamil Nadu, India or my email address posted in this Forum. Please zip!

To see some of our work, you can visit:

Thanks.

Jill

Jill Dee,

Thanks for the opportunity.

Also, has anyone seen the notice from Turtle Shell on Playwrights Online?  Those bums are asking $10.00 for an 8-minute play and offering one reading (staged reading not mentioned - could be at someone's home).

Not me!

Good for you Sam Stone of Hendersonville-t-m-e-n-N. Carolina.

I made up my mind to skip contests charging reading fees.

Good to know. As a new member, I assume many places DON'T charge a reading fee.Correct?
