Co-Op Theatre East (http://www.cooptheatreeast.org) seeks submissions of new, original, full-length plays for production in Spring 2013. Plays must be written by a New York City-area playwright, must be un-produced outside of an academic setting, and must deal with current socio-economic realities of the United States of America. Submissions will be accepted electronically, and must include:
1. a complete script in .pdf format;
2. a synopsis in the body of the e-mail;
3. a reading/production history in the body of the e-mail; and,
4. full contact info for the playwright, including current city of residence. Send to COTEsubmissions@gmail.com, with "Spring 2013 Submission" in the subject line. Submissions not adhering to these guidelines will not be read; non-NYC-area playwrights will not be considered.
