Steel River Playhouse is looking for new works for its Refinery Workshop in 2018 and 2019. We’re looking for full-length, non-musical, unpublished plays that have not yet had a professional production. Plays that have been selected will receive two readings — one in the fall, with panel feedback and a workshop session with a dramaturg, and then a second reading in the spring. Please submit application materials to SRPRefinery@gmail.com.

All Submissions are Due June 30, 2018

One of the plays will also be selected for a full production in Steel River Playhouse’s 2019-2020 season.

Please submit application materials to SRPRefinery@gmail.com.

Submissions should include, in two separate files: a cover sheet with the playwright’s name, the name of their play, and a brief synopsis; the full text of the play with the play’s title but without the playwright’s name. Please use “Refinery Submission” for the subject line of all submissions. Please submit only one play per playwright.
