Hello! I’m a Florida-based playwright. I love musicals with all of my heart, but despite giving my all when composing music, I can’t write anything better than what sounds like an arcade game theme. My scripts, however, are evolving and growing at an astounding rate. My first work was read at a competition and received a near perfect score. Since then, I have been writing nonstop, and I have several ideas floating through my head at every moment. However, some of these ideas just NEED music.
I am searching for a composer in any genre because my scripts span almost every genre of literature. The most common genres are teen/YA, meta comedy, and sci-fi. However, I am also interested in dramas, mysteries, and thrillers. I believe that music and stories can be paired together in strange ways to make beautiful musicals. If you love anything experimental and out-of-the-box, our styles could work in unison to create the next big thing.
My proposal: after we discuss what ideas we are both passionate about, we can work together on a one act (3-5 songs) to see how we work together. If we find that we are a good team, we can discuss a larger project. If not, we can part ways on good terms.

Hi Gabriel. Your situation sounds like a good match for me. I would love to hear some ideas and see what we can come up with. I am a high school choral director and have been doing theater productions for years. I have not written a large scale work, but have composed in many genres and am comfortable writing vocals and orchestrations from rock to full orch. Hope to hear from you.
Hello! I'm a West Virginia based composer currently in college for Music Theory and Composition. I've been in love with musicals since I can remember, and I have been wanting to give writing one a chance. It would be wonderful to attempt to work with you!
